Signed from Featherstone in 1905 and played till 1920. Was classed as the greatest forward in the Northern Union in his day. It was said if you were picking a team from the universe, Jukes would have to be in it. Toured Australia in 1910 and is the only forward to score a hat-trick in a test against Australia.
